Dr. Heffron received her Bachelor's degree from Minnesota State College at Winona. Her Master's degree and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology are from the University of South Dakota. She is licensed in the State of Minnesota.

Dr. Heffron is trained in Eye-movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Hypnosis, Exposure and Response Prevention, and Psychodynamic Therapy.
